Perhaps someone can tell me what I may be misuderstanding about Nvidia GPU processing. I had bought a new card earlier this year and, when I saw I had received betas for GPU, I investigated and saw the WUs were not completing properly so I turned GPU off in the Advanced Preferences processor usage. I just finished going to Results Status and saw, for that machine, that I had a large number of HCC WUs completing in 0.12 to 0.14 cpu hours which works out to be over 7 minutes, but certainly less than the 55 minutes being used before. I haven't changed any settings but it appears the GPU is working properly as shown by the last part of the Valid Status information:

I can't explain how it happened (since the GPU was turned off) but the work units were running on it. That is great; puts a lot of work through and you should see a corresponding increase in results and points. Looks Good to me I would go back and check the settings, it must have got turned back on somehow. |

In My projects, I have "If my computer can process work on my graphics card, then please send me work to run on my graphics card for the projects that I have selected above" checked. Apparently this overrides the specific settings on any one computer. |
