There's yet another new member, I M Weasel. It could be the Real Weasle. There's no workunits from any of the last 3 yet, but hope that they get it figured out.
----------------------------------------If they are running BOINC, just keep crunching. 3 workunits must come in from everyone running them for a comparison. If that doesn't happen, a quick 1 day due-day workunit is sent out to a trusted computer. That usually does it.

hey cool i was hoping we would get some members from grid. ha retsof - not sure if it will help vulture "position" on the ladder , if all teams got same percentage we should all get a boost so will help total points of course but not not team order - great tiem to recruit now.. btwmy daughter has permsiion to use a work puter for wcg so retep57 points go up a bit yay..

More SIGs from more team members would also put the vulture word out there. There's some graphics in the first message on page 1 of this thread. If y'all haven't noticed, yesterday was an excellent crunching day for runtime, and the new members haven't even sent anything yet. The runtime, points, results ranking tells me how we are doing compared to OTHER teams. We're somewhere around the top 100. Results has moved up a couple places to #93. I'm pushing out as many genome comparisons as I can, which add up faster. We don't have avatars here. Aliens from the grid can put their little graphic into their SIG also so that others can find them.

One of the earlier users who racked up thousands of year was prosecuted for using corporate computers without permission. In the meantime, we have run nearly 70 legal years worth at Vulture Central III. The cancer project wasn't either started or finished, and there were also other things processed there, like Human Proteome Folding and Smallpox, not just "cancer". I tried to get the word out to the original cancerbuster article authors in your magazine, but it didn't sink in. Vulture Central II was only one piece of the Vulture effort. A few members from grid.org have moved over to world community grid to keep crunching. Yes, the BOINC effort is quite active. What team did you decide to START, 2.2 you say? That's team #69263. Vulture Central VI has been folding@home team #46400 for a couple of years now. That's one of the few I am not on. Wake up! Join one of these teams yourself and help the effort along, eh?
