It's was a good Monday, especially in light of parmesian and spikey_richie camping with Little Jake's Rainbow team for a few days. Good milestones folks!
----------------------------------------Speaking of LJ'sRT, I like the thought of us going over and crunching on his team for a day as a group but with not really having a way of communicating that with the team aside from here, which not many of the team reads, I can't come up with a really good way of doing that. So, if you're reading this and would like to crunch for a day or two for Little Jake, here's my suggestion: post here or drop me a note that you'll be doing so for however long (just to keep me from giving myself a coronary in the midst of one of my senior moments), think seriously about posting in Little Jake's Rainbow team to let Guitar Man know (it might encourage others that way), then simply go to our team page ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/team/viewMyTeam.do ) and click on the "Quit this team" button, and finally go to Little Jake's team page ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=0PQ8TN9BR1 ) and join there. When you're done crunching, simply reverse things (retire there and rejoing here). I think it's a great way of showing our support for Kate and Paul. In fact, I think I'll have a go at a day or two myself. I should still be able to pull and post our stats here  If not, I'll work something out.edit: Oh one thing I forgot, don't forget that team stats are only updated once a day at midnight UTC so make sure that the time you switch teams and the time you switch back spans at least one midnight UTC. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by keithhenry at Mar 6, 2007 2:01:30 AM] |

Excellent Justin! Sorry I didn't catch your return to our active crunchers. What sort of desktop is it and which OS is running? I suspect you might be able run BOINC which would gget better use out of your machine.

Hi,
Not new but looking to talk to a moderator or someone who can tell me how to kickstart my screensaver. I can't seem to figure out why it stopped. It says it is paused when I open up the icon from the tray in the lower right hand corner. Any ideas. Dan danielgcarey@comcast.net |
