I'd like to see a breakdown of every user's hardware. For example, a histogram of CPU types, memory, etc.

I agree...would be interesting. Also to see how many machines each individual is running...

You can see how many machines someone is running(called devices) by looking up a member's stats.
As for hardware, 50,000 devices(machines) would be a large list to check...but yeah, if there was an individual member you wanted to check on then it may be nice to see. Maybe their 'comparison device' score could easily be added to the stats for starters. |

![]() ![]() Devices that have not posted results in x number of days are eventually dropped off the list, so that won't make any difference. The phantom devices won't be returning results anyway, so while a tad annoying, it really does no harm to have them listed. If your motherboard supports monitoring (most modern ones do), you can use a free program such as MotherBoard Monitor to check your CPU temp, or check with your computer's manufacturer/motherboard maker to see if they have special software designed to do it (most individually purchased motherboards are bundled with utility software that can do this). |

If you go to http://www.grid.org and then go to the Member-to-Member Support Forum, the third post down titled “Tools and Utilities” at http://forum.grid.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=15596 has a link to Motherboard Monitor. Please note that this post does NOT include a link to UDTweaker, though it can eventually be found by following up other links. The reason is that UDTweaker can be used for many things, but when used to multi-process, it can corrupt Work Units without giving any warning!
