Looking out of my window at the rain coming down it looks like the proper introduction to Wimbledon so I'll be thinking of you Merle. Maybe by mid week there will be a window of sunshine. Yes, but at least I am prepared for it this year, so have no great expectations  Added to which, my daughter is leaving for her holiday at the crack of dawn the following morning, so does not want to be home late - so that's our excuse and we'll be sticking to it Also, just heard that Andy Murray has withdrawn so gloom all round really!BTW. welcome Roger - good to have you on board. (I also leave my machine on 24/7) |

Hello all
---------------------------------------- Hope everyone is well? Winter has finally arrived and is more than making up for lost time. We are having snow, sleet, hail and rain along with Gale force winds. A tad on the chilly side indeed  I havent been around much due to work but rest assured I am still around and will try to drop by when I can. I have handed in my notice at my night job and will finish up on the 11 July and its the school holidays next week so I get 2 weeks off. I will only have to go in to catch up on anything urgent that comes up. Cassie says HI to everyone Her Boyfriend is in Italy now until September so she is home with us again. My silly computer decided to crash on me the other day so I had to reinstall windows AGAIN.. along with 81 Windoze updates... does not make for an enjoyable couple of days moreso when we are only on dial up  I seem to be back up and running but I still feel the computer is flaky. I think it may have something to do with my WD Book that is plugged in. (250 G Hard drive) I have checked their website and there are no patches etc which I could download to fix this. So I will plod along as usual until the day I can afford a new computer with Vista on it Well I am away to put out dinner now. good morning each and all, river at its peak this am, just hope the banks hold!, none stop rain since yesterday, carboot sale was a disaster. We're happy when the days are fine and free from rain, but when the ground becomes too dry, the gardeners all complain.
