Goodmorning one and all No plans for the holidays unless housework counts? and washing school uniforms dirty, smelly horrible things that they are!I am guessing that "merling" means shopping Ted? I am off to do some of that myself maybe this afternoon. The fortnightly grocery shop. always a painful experience. If anyone is interested in where Cass and I live then have a look at this link. First she wants to vist Jean in Chile then on to merry old England for a hot toddy, next when she checks out Kate's NZ site we will have to travel there too!! Joy (mywife) is a ardent fan of Shackleton, and she loves to build stuff. Wouldn't be suprised if I came home one night to find Josha Slocum's "Spray" in the driveway hitched up to her Jeep. Good evening all. Weekend just started, so let the party begin  Is that an invitation? I don't think I'll quite make it on time so I'll just open a bottle of muscadet to go with the wild sea trout. We've had some heavy showers but now the sun is shining with the rain waiting until it can catch me out again as it did this morning when I risked going for the paper without a brolly. Never mind! Quite managed to work away an extra bottle   |

Evening all
Hope you've all been happy wandering in the rain leaving the work horse crunching back in the warm. I've made but two sorties. Early to get the pile of Saturday papers and then mid afternoon to get a few cans of beer. I'm up at the crack of shreakers tomorrow to get the first tube into town to get to Lord's although the chances of play must be slim. It's this mad assumption that, as a member, you must try your utmost to get your money's worth. At least it will give me some exercise. |
