Wild Alaskan salmon for dinner tonight, which makes me think does anyone else still keep up the fish on Friday routine. It's never been a faith thing with me and now it's just practical.
We do the main shop on a Friday to avoid the weekend and it seems sensible to eat the fish bought a soon as possible.

'Spect the Salmon was a bit miffed ending up on the plate.......
We had smoked Haddock (smacks lips)

A fishy Tale ....one fine day the daughter came home with a new boyfriend. As is Tradition the lad bought with him gifts for mum you know the kinda thing box of chocolates bunch of flowers.
This box was quite large, It seemed big enough to keep the most ardent chocoholic happy for months biggrin
However this lad came from Aberdeen and the box contained bootiful smoked fish.
There is a very sad end to this tale ..... sad
The foolish girl broke of with the guy sad sad
