going to Arnside knot this morning to take some pics
along with the bloke next door who is going to sketch
We are going in his new car that has a revesing camera
Dont know if this means we willl travel backwards the whole way ???

Evening all

Yes it has been a bright day. Had a walk around the City this morning mainly because I'm meeting a friend from Germany to go to a concert in the Barbican on Sunday and that section of the tube is closed down for upgrade work at the weekend.
So the idea was to check out the best route and a pleasant enough pub to meet up in before some lunch and on to the early starting concert.
That done, with the sun shining and feeling warm, I walked up to St Paul's and then back to the City proper.
It's a while since I've done this and I am still amazed at how many new tall buildings are going up all the time.
I know it's a major world financial centre these days but some parts are hardly recognizable from those days long ago when I started work in Lombard Street.

Another day draws top a close, and poor OLD JP is a year older!
