Edwardians and Teds are not the same; Teds are "Theodores" , named after Theodore Roosevelt, while Edwardians are named after King Edward, (same as the potatoes and cigars); The VII of England and the Ist of Scotland. ...and what do you think Teddie Boys were? They were so named because their styly of dress was Edwardian, therefor Teddie Boys...there was no Theodorian form of dress..... Teddy Bears were named after Theodore!!! The team is Teddies, not Teddys |

To clarify matters mentioned above.
Several years ago, I with the help of Sigal, Merle, Evy and a few others formed a team which I called "The Edwardians". Later a couple of the team left due to problems with UD, not with us, and formed teams elswhere which they called the "Teddies". although both teams have the same roots, they are separate teams, who still as far as I know respect and support each other. John 118 and WHL were valuable members of the "Edwardians", and are welcome at any time. |
