Good Afternoon, Beverly & Co.
.... ooohhh debt, budget, negotiations, downgrading by S&P,
closing of the National Parks in the middle of the vacation season for maximum impact, ooohhh ....
" ... there's general agreement that deficit reduction will occur in two stages,
with the second stage being trickier because of entitlement and tax reform ....."

- so is still blowing in the wind ...

[rant]This is politics as usual here when the libitards are in charge. Fabricate an emergency, add in the chicken little effect and then try to cram their tax and spend agenda down our throats. It better not happen this time or we may be revisiting 1776 again very shortly. The longer they try to prop up this house of cards the harder it will fall when it crashes. 14+ TRILLION in debt and counting[/rant]

Hi guys...
Even in our weakened state, the rest of the world is still looking to us for leadership
- and when the chips are down we'll be there.

I hope this broken French is understandable
- it has been a long time since we blew a tire far out in the country in Normandy, France
and I decided it might be a good idea to take French lessons to supplement the one year I had in school ...

French isn't a language I have studied, however I have been to France a few times.
Hope Babel Fish translation makes sense biggrin

Ma sirène de Madame de plaisir petite. Votre attitude est louable.

Non, Je ne regrette rien wink

Edit: Not sure if that translates the way it was intended laughing
I wrote: My pleasure Madame little mermaid - it came out -
My siren of small Madam of pleasure
- oops blushing
Edit 2: GMTA =
Les grands esprits pensent de même - Non, Je ne regrette rien cool

Hey Big Spender biggrin Money

All they did was kick the can down the road. Instead of 10-12 TRILLION of new debt in the next 10 tears we'll only have maybe 6 or 7. ( and that's a huge maybe) Do these idiots in DC really think the American public is that stupid?

Here's a math question for y'all. If you had $1,000,000,000,000 dollars and you spent $1,000,000 per day how long would it take you to spend that $1,000,000,000,000 dollars?
I think you might find the answer shocking.
