It's true, but for somebody who has not been closely following this forum over these recent weeks it is a little short.
On end of April grid.org which was another distributed computing site has decided to close their shop within two days. Many (most?) of their users have joined WCG which was a convenient place for a move (same kind of projects, similar UD agent).
Team2ch, a Japanese team, was the #1 team in grid.org, and they have moved their thousands members to WCG in less than a week. As if that were not enough, since they are powerful crunchers with powerful machines, most of them have migrated to BOINC to take full benefit of their multicore PCs.
And you can see the result in all stats by team or by country. For WCG's benefit.
