I am getting an internal server error when trying to report a ressult....anyone else getting the same?

2 machines are fine. They were getting some errors starting at 1130 UTC, but they got over it, uploaded, reported, and downloaded.
----------------------------------------A third refuses to report. The database could have been in an error condition when it was uploading, or something.

Yes. Looks like the database trouble is back. Off course it is.... its a holiday weekend.... so there HAS to be a problem. |

We have 2 servers for BOINC. Sometimes one crashes and people have trouble if their commo is assigned to the bad server while other people have no trouble. I am unsure how the servers for the UD client are set up. I have not had any trouble with BOINC this afternoon.

There have been some continuing problems. We did a bunch of AIX memory management tuning on Friday night but the problems continued. Last night we did a bunch of research and it we found that the tape backup client was trying to backup the database data files. Once we stopped that the database started running very well again. We have temporarily suspended the tape backups until we can validate that this resolved the issue and then get some proper rules in place to avoid the conflict.
At this time the BOINC grid is running very well. If anyone gets the internal server message again please post in this thread. thanks, Kevin |

Indeed very well... all zipped thru in no time and My Grid came back in probably under 30 minutes after the noon Stats run started.
