In my profile I can get WU from any project but with the limited resources on my desktop I can get only GC WU. In the last days I don't get any new WU. Are the latest GC WU targeted for high resources desktops?.

Hello mcaspi,
Genome Comparison is through. Occasionally a work unit will be sent out again if it is not returned in time. I suggest that you look over http://distributedcomputing.info/projects.html to find a project that will fit on your computer. Right now our smallest project is FightAIDS@Home. Although the requirements at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq say that 250 MB is needed, Retsof says that BOINC can run FAAH on 128 MB if he uses a large virtual memory. ok. It looks like my UD agent is going on vacation for a while. Let's see, the Bahamas? Florida? Hawai? hard to choose. Thanks.

I posted some other BOINC links in the Genome Comparison thread. Distributedcomputing.info doesn't always have them all, but neither do the others. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=14943 I have found some other new project news on some of the BOINC stat sites. Google for "BOINC projects" for several.
----------------------------------------Some projects are more suited for small computers than others, and some don't always have work available. I was checking yesterday, and chess960@home had some available. I finished a 2.5 minute workunit on the fast computer, so it should be acceptable for most systems.
