Hi! I have Boinc 5.10.7 on Windows Vista and everytime I turn off my computer I lose my workunits (specially those ones from World Community Grid).. and then when I turn my PC on, it reconnects to Internet to download new workunits from my projects.. So it's impossible to me to complete a single workunit, only if I left my pc always on! What and how can I fix this situation?Thank you for your patience.

There's a rich variety of reasons with Vista, but if you go to this collection of resolutions go for the easy point one or delve further into the securities and shutdown slowdown settings to get it working.

It's crash prone. Better to get the stable 5.8.16 : http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php . First uninstall 5.10.7 and install 5.8.16.

Thank you Sekerob. I uninstalled last version of Boinc and installed 5.8.16. I hope it will work ;)

Regardless the BOINC or UD version, you still most probably need to apply one of the Vista solutions. Point 1 is the quick fix and very possibly Vista shuts down too fast which could damage a job in progress. It would though not cause for you to loose all the tasks in the queue.
