Also, somewhere in the past couple of days we set a new team points record. For May 3rd, we had 604,991 points. However, that followed May 2nd of only 438,092 points and a stats server glitch. So I think there's some points from May 2nd lumped into that 600,000 number. Sorry. But, yesterday we did 573,104 points, and I'm pretty sure that was a clean figure. And you know, if we keep this up, this will be moot as we'll have an unquestionable number of 605,000 soon.

I've got all my machines focused on the new Influenza project at the moment.

I'm torn about getting a gold CEP badge. The silver badge looks most like the project logo and colors. (But I guess I really don't have to worry for a while yet, I still have about 20 days until gold there.)

For now I'm not really concentrating on a specific project. The current malaria focus of HPF2 interests me, but it's still running alongside many other projects. One bit of input I do have, I'd be more interested in a project challenge if it's a short-running one. I like seeing multiple projects flow through my computer, although I would get enthused about a few day - week push in a specific area. That's just me, however.

Oh, and since I've been asleep at the switch, did you know we hit a new record a couple days ago? This time it's 587,583 - besting our last record by over 14,000!!!

I agree that we shouldn't be in a challenge longer than a few days or a week. Unless it's a huge WCG challenge or something.

It's a massive undertaking for some of us to switch to a main focus on all machines, and need time to do it. How about this: I test the waters and join in a few challenges that are short and include a variety? Just see what happens
