I've had this project selected since it began but have yet to see a work unit from it. I have 4 projects selected, and get a variety of work units from the other 3. I expected to see a work unit from HCC by now. These don't appear to be in short supply, so I'm curious why I haven't gotten any yet. Any ideas?

It should have been auto-opted in, but seemingly not in your case. I know some went into their profiles while the techs were still auto-populating which could have upset the selection process which is in 2 places:
----------------------------------------1. My Projects, 2. Device Profiles, check both and make sure the device(s) are attached to the profile you selected it in. Added: Presume you read that HCC was not yet launched on Mac.

It's been selected in both, sekerob. It actually was auto-opted in.

In that case, there is no plausible explanation. Suggest to work a possible glitch by deselecting, save and reselecting, save HCC in the My Projects page. Do same in the attached Device profile and see what happens, in that order.

Newest downloaded units still do not include HCC. I know it would require more downloads to be sure that HCC is still not being included but I decided to unselect all other projects and only check HCC in my preferences. After my current work units complete, HCC *should* be the only units I'll be able to get [I've also unselected the option to receive work from other projects if none are available for the chosen one(s)].

Looking for forward to a message which will read something like "No work available for this platform" or "Computing 80% of the time and committed for 95%", or similar.
----------------------------------------I wonder what connect value and DCF you have. The initial HCC jobs have rather long predicted computing times on first receipt.... switch the Connect to e.g. 0.1 days and Cache to 1 day, the sum same as before when only using the Connect option in the device profile.

Ok, after eliminating all options except for cancer, I've received two HCC work units. Now to readd the other projects. Hopefully I'll keep getting cancer jobs as well as the others.

I have the same problem. Today is 09.11.07.
I even removed all other projects but do not receive work units from the HCC project. Profiles are adjusted correctly. |

Did you get any before and are there any signals in the Message window of the BOINC agent. What version of BOINC agent, what OS.
----------------------------------------Are you getting any work? No doubt in my mind that if HCC is the only project chosen (in My Projects and Device profiles, of which there can be 4) and the 'Give me other work if my project has none' has been deselected, should there be log entries to tell what's on.
