We discovered some problems with the results computed for the Help Conquer Cancer project and found a bug in the science calculation. In the interest of not possibly wasting any grid computation time, we paused this project for a few days and are starting testing of a fix for this problem. During this period, any members who have selected to only run this project will have paused agents. We encourage those members to consider helping with the other projects on World Community Grid. We expect the project to resume next week. We are sorry for the inconvenience and disruption.

On the My Projects page of the website, you have the option to select whichever projects you wish to run. As we have temporarily stopped Help Conquer Cancer, if you have previously selected to run only Help Conquer Cancer, then we kindly request that you return to the 'My Projects' page and make sure that the box 'If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project (this option only applies to BOINC agents).' This will allow World Community Grid to send you work from other projects until we are able to resume Help Conquer Cancer. Once that happens you will then automatically resume running only Help Conquer Cancer.

Members with Windows and Mac computers will now be eligible to again receive work for the Help Conquer Cancer project.
