Sorry for sounding odd. We had a 35% layoff. No warning but not entirely unexpected. Business has been badly off. I was told at ~11:30 and my user ID was disabled before I got back to my office to clear my stuff out.
I could have retired a while ago but wasn't really ready to. Just getting stuff sorted out. The team graph site is another detail.

Yeah, that kind of parting shot is kind of a shocker. Happened once to me in the early 1980's when I was way too young to retire. Called me into the boss's office at 2:30 PM and told me it was my last day. They did have the decency to ask me if I wanted to work the last two hours, to which I said yes, because if they were laying me off I wanted every last hour of pay. There were some people there considerably longer than me that got the ax also. It was a plumbing wholesaler and the housing market was in the pits. I did accounts receivable for them so I knew the receipts were only a fraction of what they had been the year before. So I could see the writing on the wall before it happened. Still not what a person wants to hear. That was not the only time I got laid off, but it was the most sudden. Hope you do well.
