I just last night created a new team for my organization.
----------------------------------------I created the team in WCG, and I created the same team in all of my BOINC projects. Of course, when I did that, I left my previous teams and now I am in this new team. My question is what happens to the points I have earned on my projects up till now, do the points transfer with me, or do they stay with the teams to which I previously belonged? |

My question is what happens to the points I have earned on my projects up till now, do the points transfer with me, or do they stay with the teams to which I previously belonged? There is one sentence in the TEAM FAQS at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=teams : The statistics that you have contributed to this team will stay with that team. The longer explanation is that you get all the points you earn and always keep them. Teams are similarly awarded all the points you earn WHILE YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THAT TEAM. The team never loses those points. When you change teams, any new points you earn go to the new team. Lawrence |

Thanks for the responses, I assumed that this is the case, but some local folks already on other teams asked me.
----------------------------------------BTW, what does anyone or any team ever get for these points? My assumption is satisfaction. |
