As vaio stated we don't recruit. It's more of an ad-hoc group of crunchers from various teams that band together to help another team reach a goal, or just go visit for a bit. Most of us have 'home" teams we crunch for full time, and Base Camp is a way to keep the interest up, meet new folks, and have some fun. The important thing is that the work gets done no matter what team the results get credited to.
As an example my home team is Crunchers Inc. but I've contributed to 8 other teams in the last 2 years. Rick |

As vaio stated we don't recruit. Rick Poor choice of words on my part. I know from personal experience what the Base Campers do. But if all those people are not doing anything with their points, they may as well wander by, have some fun and use them for something.    |

I might have a couple of free weeks later in December and join you for a bit Mike, that'd be great I think we have another trek planned for around Christmas time so maybe you can tag along on that? Remember folks, you don't have to "leave" your home team, if you have one....just think of it as a crunching vacation. You can join as many or as few treks as you wish....one rig or a fleet, it doesn't matter.......it's all about goodwill and having fun. Dad said you lot need a team captain at Base Camp HQ ...so here I am To save on paperwork I'll keep my account parked at HQ for now and Charlierox (or so she says ) can do the trekking for my rigs Saves trying to switch team captaincy. So Charlierox should be at MOT tomorrow |
