Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

Good Morning Base Campers!
The day has come to say goodbye to sujo1 rose
Thank you for your generous contribution.
It has been a pleasure camping with you, and we hope to see you next time TLD mass e-mails us.

We have several badge suggestions for Trek #29 *The Survivors* and room for more.
Let your inner artist loose and try your hand on a max 64 pixels high badge.

Knowing terms like lathe, nylon bushing and pinol screw gets you somewhere when you are a female.
The integrated prop stand for my 30-year-old bicycle stopped working like a dream
because the nylon bushing that did the trick broke.
Spares were not available, the bicycle smith said, and recommended me trying a machine tool shop.
I did. It smelled good after all these years. The owner commanded lots of lathes and other machinery,
and was in the hydraulic cylinders business, which has nothing in common
with my nylon bushing except for being tubular.
But we understood each other, and he took it upon him,
although it must be a real pain ....

People are so good to me ..... tongue

Vilja, oh Vilja with "Danish Rocking Ghosts"
Can they play, GM?

Everything's disposable these days, it seems. But I'd rather maintain the good, solid stuff.

The "Survivors" was a great trek Anne-Lise and RCC.
But I must spend some time with my home team.
I'll meet you all on the next trek. You all are the greatests!

So would I and my machine tool guy as well
- and I hope he can do the trick for slightly less than a new bicycle would cost me
- as I realize I ride a quite attractive antique

rose Elaine, thank you so much for taking part in Trek #29 *The Survivors*
and for your generous contribution.
Your participation makes any Trek prettier, honey,
and I look forward to seeing you at our
next Base Camp campground somewhere, sometime

OK, OK, you can have a Coca-Cola with ice cream for the road, Livvy rolling eyes

Re: Base Camp.......The team that isn't

rose tgwakko - did you go back to the Vultures?
- if so I'm sure they'll dish up with the very best bones with lots of sinews left
tongue
I'm sorry tgwakko - and RAMMIE as well.
I seem to confuse the two of you in my mind all the time.
Mayby it's a geography whiplash as your locations are relatively close. sad
Good Morning Base Campers!
We are the same crew building with *The Survivors* this morning, and
rcc has one more new permanent member.
My plan is to stick out the Challenges that last for the rest of October.
deltavee's, too, as he returned for the Challenges.
A little more manpower wouldn't hurt now,
but I suppose our Christians crunchers have their own goal,
them being in the Challenges as well
devilish
-altho Captain USAFA 82 actually still hangs in here rose
