where'd everyone go? I guess everyone is at the gin joint, drinking Gin and playing that card game Gin Rummy. Does cheese go with gin, like cheese goes with wine? |

Base Camp was fun.
It was a way to play, to put our fantasy to work, getting to know many, many fellow crunchers, not to mention going camping together and travel to faraway places. And we ate - huge BBQes and desserts, lots of desserts, [speaking like Mr. Trumpf now - repeating the last words for effect] not to mention the drinks we sampled. In all modesty  They were good. The desserts.  Already, I have met a handful of Base Campers, which is touching. Touching and emotional.  Base Camp has probably outlived itself, which is no reason to bury it. We no longer have our castle where we plotted our raids in secret.  Where did it go? Who demolished Base Camp's castle?Consequently, I intend to make my own raids in openness. In full openness. I shall use this Base for my Camp and go camping from here, not necessarily camp here, but perhaps [giving you a glimpse of a woman's brain at work]. If you feel like joining me camping out for a while with another team, I would love having your company. If you have no team affiliation, it would be an opportunity to try that out. Try team affiliation out. As you will see from my signature, I have raised my tent with team TEAM MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS for a while ... I'm a talker, not a pro cruncher. A talker  Nevertheless, the management upgraded my bronze Fight AIDS badge to a silver one this morning. It looks so nice with the other silvers. And I installed BOINC on my Sony Xperia. Thus I discovered it has four! - FOUR cores - for WUs to horse around with. Goodness gracious! What will be next? |
