I just assume if it's not mentioned then it's not supported.

The Mac share has about 4% of WCG and there are 82 work units per cycle meaning about 3 sets of quorum 10 to go around. Aside the fact that there are few climate jobs to peddle, there were not enough MAC owners selecting the project. This caused significant delay in the overall project and don't think with the added OSX 10.5 - 10.4 disparity, that the programmers will be going on a bug hunt. Conclusion: ACAH is not going to return to MAC until at least a scale up happens, if ever.

Here is the post that announces the 'temporary' suspension of ACAH on the Mac: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=16679#132952 Now that we have to differentiate between Mac OS X 10.5 and earlier releases, it is very unlikely that we will run ACAH on the Mac. Lawrence |

I'm the one that should be showing embarrassment.
 I checked Member News and Known Issues without seeing a notice that ACAH was suspended on the Mac. Then I searched through the ACAH Forum and finally found the thread that started mentioning it. I thought it had more prominent mention. There was no way for any one who did not read all the forum posts to know this. Lawrence |

Known Issues told me: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost?post=135155 But, if embarrassed for not seeing it than you should be too. as for me – i was well aware of the mac os 10.4 vs. 10.5 issue by having read either this thread http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=17215 or the FAQ. but if you look in the FAQ, notice that the subject line changes from the first post to the second thus if you're not paying attention then you wouldn't have noticed that African Climate @home was pulled from the mac.as an aside – Sekerob – I clicked on your home page icon and it's in Italian. Although I don't know Italian, I can see that it is about Licio Di Biase, who seems to be somebody very important in Italy. Are you he? |
