Re: Error

MD5 check failed

The workunit was corrupted, so BOINC rejected it. This means it became corrupted in between downloading it and starting it - you should check your harddrive, it may be failing.

Before I panic about my harddrive, could this have happened during the upgrade of the BOINC client to 5.10.30?

Thanks, Dan Town

Re: Error

It's not impossible - but check the drive anyway.

Re: Error

I set it to check for errors on restart and rebooted the computer. The drive seems to be ok. A second HCC WU was completed by the same computer and it is valid. It was just the one WU. Hopefully it was just an isolated incident.

Thanks, Dan Town
