Well the walk across Morecambe bay has been and gone not a total success in that runners 430 of them failed the crossing of the river Kent too much water coming down They were running from Flookbourgh on the northern side of the bay
----------------------------------------at he same time Walkers departed silver dale en route to Flookbourgh The runners had to return to start point and were bused back, the walkers had a circular walk ending up in the wrong spot busses were in the wrong place but at the end of the day all had bracing day out and went home with goodie bags |

Evening all
Got tied up a bit yesterday. Our next door neighbour (that was) is moving to Chicago with a new job and the three cats are to follow shortly. Meanwhile, we're looking after them and having to ensure the final documentation from the vet to give them clearance is done. Sometimes it's a bit hairy catching one of them to transport. So yesterday turned out to be a bit of a failure but, fortunately, today the questionable one, Spike, got to the vet hospital, was cleared fully OK and has his docs ready to go in just over a week. Now, just one more to have a final jab and that's it; they get to fly the Atlantic and find a new home in the USA. I'm no sure if they're understand the dialect but 'mummy' will be there to greet them. |
