Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Evening all.
Does anyone know the minimum operating flight speed for a 707?

Have a great day.

Morning all,
I am having some massive computer problems after opening an e-card. I have lost my active desktop, and am struggling with other programmes.

WARNING>>> Do NOT SEND ME ANY E_MAILS. DO NOT OPEN any e-mails from me until I get this sorted! Better safe than sorry

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the 707 info JP but what I'm looking for is the lowest speed that the 707 can still remain in level flight. the only specs I've been able to find so far only state max speed and cruising speed. I couldn't even find lift off speed (which would be close to the answer I'm looking for).

BTW as I know altitude plays a role in the equation, if we need to be specific then lets say 10000ft or less.

I'll check in later, it's off to work for me.

Y'all have a great day cool

117 knots in the air with one engine out
162 knots in the air both engines running
112 knots on the ground maximum thrust for lift off

are you thinking of flying one ?

Re: THE EDWARDIANS - MARCH ON

Tried to giggle Goggle for the 707 Stall speed which might be the speed you are seeking ????

not knowing exactly what you want to know

At least just about a couple of knots above that to maintain forward motion
What we need is some input from Beth Ghost Plane biggrin
