The Scottish Boinc Team is a (relatively) small group of Scots (and affiliates) who are trying hard to make a difference. One of our aims at the moment is to get all our teams (52 at last count!) ranked in the top 100 in the world, but we need your help with World Community Grid.
 If you've got no team, or are just looking to swap for any reason, why not join us and help boost Scotland up the international rankings. What do you get in return? Well, we've been crunching since '99 (originally as Scotland's Seti) and we've accumulated a lot of knowledge in that time; if you need any help one of us usually knows the answer. Alternatively, you can just chat on the team boards and enjoy Scotland's famous hospitality. In fact, why not drop in anyway and see what we're like? Everyone is welcome. :) |

Time for a weekly
  We've claimed another place in our slow rise to the top 100. Today we passed 'Gayromeo' to claim the 186th spot. In the next few days the mighty 'UC Berkeley' should be subdued as we continue our (hopefully) unending climb.  |

Weekly Update!
The twenty of us are still crunching away slowly. We've moved up another six places in the last week to reach the impressive position of 180th; but there's still a long way to go. Our only other project outside of the Top 100 (Rosetta@home, 108th) is almost there now, so soon WCG will be the sole exception. |

Progress Update: We've climbed up to 168th place over the last week, seven places in just six days, not too bad. |

Time for another weekly
I'm afraid it's been a slow week on our climb up the rankings.  We've only managed 4 places over the last week to put us at 164th, still 20 places sort of our previous best.Oh well, we'll keep on crunching and get there in the end. |

It's hard to tell what's happening with this project at times.
 We've had our 'slowest' week yet, climbing only three places to reach 161st in the world.At the same time we've (apparently) crunched half a million credits in the last month and just broken 2 million credits overall. This places us solidly in third position in the UK, with a chance of taking second from team 'UK' in a few months. I guess, all in all, we're still climbing the ranks so it's all good. |

I love your stats in the race. Kind of weaves around like one has had too much scotch. But then again, I shouldnt say too much. I might get tossed like a caber.
