There are now 23,363 Teams at the WCG. Our Team was 66th in Points Generated and 73rd in Results Returned after this evening's WCG update. Really incredible once you think about it.

I wish that the WCG can draw another two million volunteers to join. We could use all that crunching power. I'm sure that all/most of you have heard the news about the movie star Patrick Swayze, who died Monday in California at age 57 after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. If it takes high profile news like that to get more folks to crunch, so be it.

Yet, we know that cancer is killing millions of us each and every year. And not even mentioning all those other horrible diseases that are doing the same.

We Humans are so fragile with all these dreaded diseases taking it's toll on our Family and Friends and everyone else who lives on this tiny planet we call Earth.

Crunching stats are kinda fun to keep up morale and such, but these diseases at this 'day and age' is totally unacceptable. All of you, please bring on the 'crunch'.

Dying falling off a cliff is one thing (that is, if you took the risk, if you tried something daring), yet these horrible diseases are not. We are all at risk here. Sorry for the rant. There are so many "not famous folks" going through this stuff with their Doctors (if they are lucky to even see one). Not taking sides in any healthcare stuff, yet it certainly makes me think of 'what if'.

Until that happens, this is what we can all do now. Crunch away. Like some/many of you, I have heard recent news concerning my Family and Friends.

Let's try to end news like that forever. I'd almost rather fall off a cliff. Yet, like most/all of you, I sure as hell am not ready for that. No way, no how. Humans have this great inherent instinct to live despite all odds.

Did anyone notice that huge rumbling noise last evening? It sounded (from what I have read) like the hoof beats of the horses ridden by "The Golden Horde" of Atilla the Hun.

Well, we can't laugh too loud, the nearly 350 Team Mates of Ukraine are sounding very loud.

Team Mates, we have moved up one spot in Total Run Time to #91 (yet again). LOL!

Our Team was 63rd in Points Generated and 65th in Results Returned. I actually have run out of adjectives to describe our efforts. It certainly was a lot more than just 'very good'.
