----------------------------------------BTW, I have only an extra day of cache in my settings. Is that enough to get through this huge planned outage? Also, I am only crunching SN2S work units and I read that those (really bad timing to do this with the major outage). The meease in the know issues say something about An update/correction to the above: New work which is already loaded will continue to be sent out over the next few days at a reduced pace until the supply is exhausted. After that point, only resend work units will be sent out. Seippe Resend????? Work units that have been already been crunched? Yikes, I hope not. Finally, I too have a problem similar to this cruncher at the WCG: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,33063_offset,0#375277 There, another well know cruncher gave this example to help the cruncher who is always waitng for results to be sent (this has been a very serious issue with me and I was debating if I should continue to crunch ... mikey159b Veteran Cruncher Joined: May 10, 2009 Post Count: 772 Status: Offline Project Badges: Re: One Computer Will Not Report Automatically Thanks, I'll check that out. I'll also have to check since at least one other nearly-identical computer (processor, ram, disk, os, client) has never shown this behavior. Of course that machine lives in the corner of the basement so it could be that I just don't notice what it is doing as long as it is doing something. You could always make a small cc_config.xml file and put a line in it to report results immediately upon completion. This is not a 'normal' thing to leave in there but it can be used it needed. Here is a small cc_config.xml file: <cc_config> <options> <report_results_immediately>1</report_results_immediately> </options> </cc_config> Copy and paste the above lines into NOTEPAD and save it as a txt type file, DO NOT USE A WORD PROCESSING TYPE PROGRAM as it adds stuff that makes the file not run!! Put the file in your Boinc directory and restart Boinc and you should be good to go. Here is where you can find more stuff about the cc_config.xml file: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/w/?title=Client_co...;diff=3292&oldid=prev Now then, he does not say what to name the text file. He mentions to save as text, but with what name. Do you then re-name the extension to xml and then copy this to the Boinc data folder?
