Thanks for the welcome! Carpet Rodent originates from a Daxie I rescued from being put down as an unwanted pup. My fiancée wasn't happy with "Rug Rat", so, in the interests of PC bull$h!t I suggested Carpet Rodent: A politically incorrect rug-rat! :-D Ah, i see now. I am also *not* that PC myself. I have had to bite my tongue several times about having not one but *two* 'points methods'; Boinc Credit AND the old UD points that are still being used here and also the lack of 'numbering; I mean ... geez ..   I had to cut and paste to see where we ranked in all 3 daily Team stats. Oops! I think I will stop right there.  I used to post the following graphic daily until Idid not have the time to do that as well as other stats, etc. I mean, that is what the link with the arrow gif is for. Also, Team Mates have ALL their points from crunching here at the WCG. I think it is easier to have other crunchers join us when they see trhat all their stats are being credited in these threads here.  Carper Rodent, thanks for the post about that pup! I try to enroll our team to every challenge available. But what do you think about a team Andrax 11th birthday challenge starting on July 28th (points, results, runtime, all projects)? Eric, I know you do. I should have stated that I wanted everyone to be a Captain (Co-Captain). We would be the first team to have done this. Looking at my last post, I should have made that more clear when replying to Carpet Rodent. It would give *all* of our Team Mates that status to fill that this was their Team. If anything, you got us competing ii all of them. THe only ones that do not suit most Teams are the "Percentage Challenges" that favor really small Team with one or two Team Mates. Again, sorry about that. Gez .. anhhai, yes you are correct; our highest Team ranks to date. We also have achance to move up as well. Yet, I do want to be careful because we are on the "radar" now for many Teams. Yikes! LOL! Now those Teams ahead of us are GIANTS. I mean just look at them and don't mention them here. LOL! Do not wake a sleeping giant! Il have seen a lot of Teams that were more active than they are now. We do have a humble team and that is the way I like it. /wipes brow Ha ha. Uh-oh, did that sound arrogant? I certainly hope not. Eric, that challege would be a great idea. All that I am saying is hopefully our Team will be here for our Co-Captains in the future ubtil we can find cures and solutions at the WCG.  Still, for example, a Co-Captain could start a Team Challege in honor / honour of their national hero or sports Champion. There! I wish I had posted that. |

Johnny, sorry that I wrote a little bit unclear. It was not my intention to offend you in any way or to make you justify in any kind. I know that we are all Co-Captains and that is how I feel too.
----------------------------------------And that was the main reason for me to be part of our wonderfull team. Yes, it's a pitty that the software here allows only one of us to create challenges. Maybe we can work around this limitation in discussing/proposing a challenge here in our thread, so I can create it afterwards? I too hope that we have a long future here at wcg as there are so many cures and solutions to find. |
