Here in the south, humidity is up and high temp should hit 90F or above today. Probably won't be below 90F to many times now (maybe any rainy days) until mid to late September. Hurricane season starts next Thursday just to break the monotony of "hot and humid".

Lots of storms here in the north east, I had a switch fail which had 2/3 of my PCs on it, probably due to lightning. So no results uploaded yesterday but they all just pushed this morning as I got most of them reconnected so today should be a high point day!

---------------------------------------- I will make a thread/post this comimg week asking WCG techs to make a slight change to the APPOINT NEW CAPTAIN app that I am able to see; quite simple really. I will ask if they will change it so that I could make most of us Team Caprtains right away. This will allow a co-Captain to: Simply take over (like Eric_Kaiser did for a short time) while I was taking some time off. Allow any Team Captain to start a Team Challenge of their own choosing (it would be tasteful and conforming to WCG ruiles and so forth). The Co-Captains would all have a Co-Captain bade (like the do in most sports) and other cool stuff that YOU would like to see. This would or could be very beneficial to all of the other Teams here as well.  I do tink that MANY Teams at the WCG would agree. Great for morale! Has anyone read that a couple days ago (oplease see above): Any comments? *Any* of their Summer Interns can do that and be happy to be able to it as well. Besides, some important stats need to be corrected. Like the amount of Members here; sometime ago, I looked at Teams that have hundreds upon hundreds of people who have registered but *never* returned any results. So, which project is getting more results? Sorry to keep asking. Sorry, not sure what information you are looking for. Are you asking about returned work units? For WCG as a whole or just for the team? The Community tab shows the number of results returned for a particular project. The only way I can think of to do it for the team would be to gather the delta between days using the team's daily stats on the team page as they are broken down by project. There may be a more sophisticated way using the API but haven't looked into that... |
