An endless experiment

Why the Experiment 5 and 7b1 are endless? They are at 99.4% and 93% forever.

Re: An endless experiment

Dr. Perryman posted a few weeks back that the experiments are complete, it's just that the data is somewhere in store and needs merging into the central repository.... As always bookkeeping is an afterthought when it amounts to scientists. They usually forget to complete their travel expense report too and barely think if signing and submitting it.

Re: An endless experiment

Hey, I'm actually pretty good with bookkeeping. Having an obsessive-compulsive personality does have some advantages. ;)

Those experiments were performed long before I joined the FAAH team. I'm not sure exactly why they weren't all finished to 100%, but I'm guessing that it involved the fact that the new AutoDock4.0 code was finished. I think that those experiments involved the 3.0.5 code. When the beta version of 4.0 was ready, I think that they halted those experiments and re-submitted them using the improved search algorithm and improved scoring function in the 4.0 code.

Best wishes,
Dr. Alex Perryman
