My dad used to take me for long walks on the beach. He taught me how to find sharks teeth and fossils and all the names of the shells. Good memories!

 My dad travelled a lot when I was little [military]. I still remember the incredible feeling I got when, at about age 2, I looked up at this big guy driving the car and realized he belonged to me!  It's pretty obvious you're off to a great start as a dad It's the ones who DON'T worry and think about it a lot that we need to worry about  |

My dad used to take me for long walks on the beach. He taught me how to find sharks teeth and fossils and all the names of the shells. Good memories! Funny, same for me GP ... but mine were when we went fishin'. Standing on a foot bridge with my Dad and catchin' fish out of a stream that looked like whales to me though they were probably only 3" long.  You are a great father fabama.   |

I can still see my brother of five years old skipping across the water after crab got hold of his toes. Been an ocean junkie ever since.. |

I'm a military brat. Travel wasn't optional
 Fishing is good! I hooked a sea turtle once off the pier [back before all the influx of housing and northerners virtually destroyed their habitat]. Dad had to help me tow it to the beach while everyone else reeled in to give us room. It felt like pulling the sea floor and took forever. Then he got the hook out of it, turned it around and helped it back into deeper water. I still have his fishing box Unfortunately all those lead sinkers are now an environmental no-no.  |

I'm a military brat. Travel wasn't optional So you had to travel!!!!!!! only in your country or even abroad? Have you ever been in italy? |
