I'm on a college T1 network but I usually get speeds that are pretty slow comparable to cable or DSL. I chose the cable connection option because of this but am now thinking that maybe choosing T1 network would have made a difference. Does it? And if so, how do I change the connection speed?

Click the tab up top that says "member area" then on the left navigation bar, click "device manager." It should list the computer you logged into the grid, just click on the name and it will open a page witha drop down menu of connection speeds
