OpenSuse 11.0

Anyone else running OpenSuse 11.0? Since I upgraded the ratio of claimed vs granted BOINC credit has tanked. An example: Claimed 136 points on a work unit and granted 39.

Re: OpenSuse 11.0

Run the top command and see if something is taking cycles from Boinc.
Beagle & zen effectively shutdown Boinc in two of my OpenSuse 10.3 installs (problems hopefully fixed in 11.0), and yum updater still irritates me on occasion for one other install.

Re: OpenSuse 11.0

Thanks - never thought of power management. Changed the default setting to maximum cpu speed and crunching picked up speed and cat /proc/cpuinfo showed much improved numbers.
