This WU below was sent out twice, once to another cruncher, then some 20 minutes later to me, which I have returned...why?

----------------------------------------You should re-read this post by knreed, particularly item 1 1) The server maintains a value that serves to inform us of how 'reliable' a given computer is. When a result is assigned to the computer for a workunit with a quorum of 1, then the reliable measurement is checked to make sure that the computer is sufficiently reliable. If it is, then all is good. If it isn't, then the workunit is changed to have a min_quorum of two and a second copy is sent. In this case it seems that you are the reliable partner. Cheers. Jean. |

Just done some checking....seems like that machine has just had a burst of Inconclusives....been ok up to now.....so the system seems to work ok....

Consider it probable that if your client(s) land on the 'suspect list' their work will be replicated for a while, but if there is a time span between the 2 copies and you are the first, it's someone else.
----------------------------------------Not heard or seen of an update % for DDDT. It started at 11.5% being send a second copy. Means that twice as many members will "See" 2 copies in their result quorum. Also the other point in knreed highlights that random checks are performed.
