Umm, I *think* the BOINC agent is running OK on my windows box, but I just got an email that says I haven't returned a result since July 9th ..

ah ha, I just noticed under projects and team it doesn't have my name and the team I used to use .. how do I update that?

Hello kunzjr,
----------------------------------------The quick way is to go to the Projects tab and Detach from World Community Grid. Then Attach. If that does not work, a complete reinstall will do the trick.
