No Reply - Solved

Hello all,

Yesterday my computer received a (late rerun) beta WU (time: 16:33:08 UTC)
BETA_ E000370_ 404A_ 001e96158_ 7--
This morning (10:00 h UTC) the Workunit Status was reading: Too Late, (As expected).
Now I am reading: No Reply.
Also credits are granted for valid & and invalid results.
The beta WU has still 2:17 hours (or perhaps 5 or 8 hours) to run until it finish.

Should I abort this beta WU, or is it still useful to sent it in when it has finished?

Have a nice day,
Path7.

Re: No Reply

As has been mentioned in many posts, it is important to let the Beta WUs complete as credits are given for Invalid jobs and these invalid results may provide insight to the Tech on project operation. The Beta project is not the same as the main research projects. Aborting the WU will probably result in the system sending out another replacement WU to you or to someone else.

Hello astrolab,
Thanks for your reply.

As far I have been reading those post are about beta Wu's which are too late.
The WU I mentioned before has already been marked as no reply.
It is possible that this WU will have the same treatment. I will let it run.

Thanks again for your reaction,
Path7.

Re: No Reply

I already have one marked as too late, and I still have one running that is no reply, and sure to also be labeled too late. I don't care that I get no points for these...just that they are still useful :)

I'm at 5 days Beta....slowly crawling to the badge biggrin

Re: No Reply

This Beta has been very good to me. I am hoping to get my Bronze tonight.

Hello Diana G.,

Thanks for your reaction.
Yes you're right, after the beta-WU was sent in the status went from no reply to too late.
I was merely afraid the WU would invissible for the tech's.

Success with your new badge,
Path7.
