At least one web page with a My Profile link seems to refer to the wrong certificate for determining if the site is valid, which produces an error message.
However, I found a web page where the link is named My Forum Profile instead, and was able to use that one instead. It may be significant that I originally entered my profile when WCG was still at the California location, but didn't notice the My Forum Profile link until it had moved to its new location. My original profile didn't appear when I used the My Forum Profile link. I run BOINC 6.2.28 under 32-bit Vista SP1. |

My Forum Profile is separate from the My Grid > My Profile. The former as it's name indicates is strictly limited to settings for the forum.
----------------------------------------Can you post the link address of the screen that shows the error when you go to My Profile. Doubt it is browser cookies cache related, but if you have not cleared them for longer, do so. thanks

My Forum Profile is separate from the My Grid > My Profile. The former as it's name indicates is strictly limited to settings for the forum. Can you post the link address of the screen that shows the error when you go to My Profile. Doubt it is browser cookies cache related, but if you have not cleared them for longer, do so. thanks I've forgotten to much about where I was to find it easily, but I'll keep looking. For several months, I've been clearing cookies, and also the temporary files web cache, once a week. |

Okay, so it is the several My Profile links to https://worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyProfile.do that don't have secure. in them. The domain was moved and the address now should read https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyProfile.do
