Are stats credited to the day they are returned or the day they become valid

Hi

If a result takes more than a day to become valid, is it credited to the statistics on the day is it validated or does it get retrospectively credited to a previous day's statistics?

Thanks

Re: Are stats credited to the day they are returned or the day they become valid

hmmm... so the guy who completes the quorum gets the credit on the day of return / validation and the one who returned it 2 days ago has a revision to the statistics of the day before? Not very practical, so no, points count for everyone the day the result gets validated.

ciao

Re: Are stats credited to the day they are returned or the day they become valid

I thought that might be the case, otherwise it's a lot of historical data to go through and update, especially with the 19-replication WUs. That also explains my quite erratic statistics at times when my processing activities are otherwise quite stable/regimented.

My follow-up question is therefore: If I change teams and several WUs that I processed with my previous team are still pending validation at the magic Midnight UTC changeover, then my assumption is that my new team will then get the credit?

(If anyone from my team is reading this - don't worry, I've got a lot more crunching to do with you yet!)

Obviously, this shouldn't be an issue for teams as unless you are brand new to WCG, then the team you are leaving will have got credit for pending WUs when you joined. Law of averages etc, it should all even out.

Curve ball... if you move team at 23:59:59 UTC all validated work for that day goes to the new team, retroactively wink
