Still snowing here but it's not the fat wet stuff so it's not getting much thicker outside at the moment.
It does remind me, however, that it was accepted when in Germany, that, as a resident, you had a responsibility to keep your portion of the pavement clear. Here, we sit back and say it's the responsibility of the Council. |

I saw a clip on tv news that some council had given out snow clearing equipment to local volunteers so they could keep their local street clear .
----------------------------------------I personally clear the pavement outside the house, before if, possible it gets impacted . I hope to scotch the stupid rumour that if you clear the pathway and the passer by slips on the small patch you failed to clear The Lawyers will march up and sue you within an inch of your life . That is just so much cobblers the situation in the last couple of years the councils reluctant to do anything to clear the pavements so nothing wrong with a little people power  instead of posting cold snow photos something I'm guilty of I admit I thought a memory of the summer remember summer ? when sun shone and rain was warm This is a picture of me on the start line in the day glow hi viz and long trousersat the start of a Half Marathon last June 467 came in first 466 second. 12 +miles across Morecambe Bay through rivers and wet sand in just over an hour & half....... www.crossbay.org.uk ---------------------------------------- [Edit 4 times, last edit by densnaps at Jan 23, 2013 8:18:38 PM] |

On Sat I cleared all the snow from the front and drive.............it snowed last night and stopped about 1230 hrs, temp went to about +3.5 and it started melting, forecast said no more snow soI cleared the front and drive............it's now snowing again! Blah! Weather forecast......can do better with sea weed!
