Cream crackered several hiccups but we overcame them
and the weather was kind a little chilly but dry and the sun did make an appearance
British rail does maintenance over the weekends and Our start point was across a level crossing to get on the shore .

When I arrived there was a BR 5 ton road vehicle adapted to run on the rails it had been working overnight came to the crossing to exit on to the road tried to retract the rail wheels but it went pear shaped and the truck was stuck the rail gang had been trying to clear it for about and hour and it took another hour to sort .
Once clear of the crossing there were several trains backed up in both directions as this is the west coast main line it must have caused some disruption to travelers

Morning all.

Oh dear the bones are creaking after a good nights sleep....... Back is aching need a good rub down with horse lineament .

Bad news is , this morning we have to decant the Vans and return some borrowed chairs and tables .At least its a cool morning

Ps the weather chap has just came on to say that Lancashire and Merseyside might hit 23c today !!!!
