Evening all
A pleasant sunny day at Lord's but it was quite clear from early on that my team, Sussex, had no chance of winning so I left before the end to avoid the chaos that develops in the restricted underground service at the weekends. |

Peter, I can just see you wiv your bicycle clips and your cloth cap cycling through the factory gates, a bit like the good old days! ![]() René lives in the land of the bicycles, perhaps he could give you a few lessons? ![]() It's like walking, you learn it by practising it. ![]() ![]() That explains why I'm not very good at it then. ![]() ![]() I will try to get out on it tomorrow, but it looks like rain ![]() |

Morning all.
Harry Patch, Bless him, was not only the last survivor of the "trenches", he was the last survivor of WW! of any of the armies that fought! I guess the WW2 survivors will be next on the list! My own group, the Aden Veterans, are getting smaller each year, it was afterall, about 50 years ago! |

BTW, sorry not to have been around for a few days - got carted off to hospital!! ![]() ![]() |

Good to see you back out again Merle, any chance of seeing you in the next Olympics?
Good news all round this week, Merle gets discharged from hospial, Leo gets his car fixed, dog got his haircut, and I was invited for a beer last night by a very kind neighbour, what one would call a nice end to the week. |

And I'm back home again after a week of facing nearly 1000 4 to 10 year old kids ![]() |
