In my humble opinion, the second of the two machines should crunch faster. I am currently running a core 2 quad and it is constantly winning over the i5 in another machine. The i3 is a step below the i5, so my money would go on the second one. I hope this information does not come too late for your purchase.

Hey ho, there are still a few of us left!
Cant wait until Caspar joins the team!  Been a bit of a long day so far. Huge walk with Dog, followed by lunch and a snooze. Another walk with Dog, and now for dinner! (Him not me, cant afford to feed us both!)  Peter, Dave Whites advice seems sound to me. Be good to see you up and running again! Perhaps it's time to seek out some new members to fill the gaps, what say you lot? |

Cant wait until Caspar joins the team! now THERE's a thought  best excuse I've heard so far to buy another computer On a spasmodic fly by I imagine a punctured balloons flight  I guess Caspar must be entering his teens already noooo then he would be too early to work for my pension |

Evening all
Spent some time at Lord's today whilst the weather holds out and then went round with my loved one for a glass or two of white wine in the forecourt of one of the local pubs that has a long history. |

I was planning on ordering it at the weekend. It'll take a few days to take delivery and another few to remove the inevitable bloatware  and get it up and running, but it'll be good to be crunching again. |

Did not know about "no comment -wink" issue. I appologize. I'd like to still think that I have friends in the Edwardians. It is nice to see we are missed, which is all I was driving at. Good morning everyone.
No rain, but dull and overcast - still amazingly warm though. This has got to be one of the 'best' summers ever that I can remember in the old U of K. Car being serviced today, so I have fingers crossed they don't find any 'horrors'!Wot was it we used to say? Alter ...........? |
