Re: Re:

Afternoon .................

I've been in garage tidying up,I discovered two Benches and a motorcycle in there smile
Tools are now all put away in draws or tool boxes Timber neatly stacked ready for next job .
One question. How does one get to own 38 different screwdrivers and not be able to find one when one is needed?
8 tape measures @ 10/15 metres + one 100Metre reel and & a wheeled device with a clock to measure distances (like Miles)
Three, two ft steel rules 6!!!! 12 inch steel rules 4 boxwood folding rules. Given that I own all this measuring Kit how come when cutting wood as soon as its cut. the wood shrinks by about an inch or so.
luckily I have enough hammers to play the Anvil chorus solo for a week.
When we come to the Electrickery that took some sorting, computer cables USB, phono, coax , jack, scart & Rgb Telecom filters. 1/2 doz new keyboards, And you know how mice breed sad Extension cables, chargers two power washers, steam cleaner, mower, strimmer's , sander's, Router Wall mounted bench drill.Elderly Hand operated Bench drill with nice feed a Lathe,a bench saw, band, circular and fret. Three sturdy record vices one of them a woodworking Vice.
I think it goes without saying the term garage usually associated with storage of cars doesn't apply in this case

Its been a good sunshine bathed day but a bit windy promise is the same for tomorrow

Re: Re:

Evening all

It was ever thus. The amount of junk always expands to fill whatever space you have.
I don't have a garage, no such things here, but two sheds and the space under the stairs are always full and I'm not exactly sure what of.
Whenever I started the process of sorting and getting rid of stuff I would hold the item up in my hand, hesitate and decide it could well come in useful sometime so very little actually got thrown away.
It changed only when I had to move house so, when the final move comes, I'm hardly going to be concerned about it.
