....kerknackered! Two weeks ago we lost our 17 year old diabetic tom, Arthur....what a cat , much loved.

Yesterday we took charge of our new kittens, 14 weeks old, brother and sister, Bonny & Clyde form the Cats Protection League Rescue centre.......I thought cats were supposed to sleep a lot.....a pair of miniature typhoons, tearing up the house biggrin

- but no doubt they shall act as a major distraction

Arthur is the white cat, Zoe & Sophie are the two sisters, Zoe is the black one.....none of the new ones yet, they do not stand still long enough to take a photo...

Yes, Arthur was "what a cat" and with a blue and an amber eye as far as I can tell.
They are wonderful - and thusly the shots as well
- he-he bet you didn't get any birdie visitors that day, when Zoe made the feeding platform her bed
- no they will not keep quiet, the new kitties, but eventually they must sleep ....

Take another look, I have added a shot of TWO white cats with amber & blue eyes, reversed! One was Arthur and the other Chalkie, who disappeared in 2001. They were both rescue cats but NOT related....

Well not too bad a summer's day for a country fair ,

Light drizzle alternating with heavy Rain.
We had sheepdog trials, show pony demo's, dog shows , Ferret racing.
there were lots of ~~rusty~~ sorry "rustic food" stalls, cheeses Cumberland sausages, stickey toffee pudding And local farm made dairy Ice-cream. We Should have had a duck herding competition but the weather was too bad and they were replaced with a team of geese .
As you can see from the picture the locals enjoyed the day wink

Expect the same tomorrow mayhap with Sunshine

Evening all

Hope you're having a good birthday John. I know it's just the boring day job that finished today so now you can concentrate on the gigs that are the real thing.

I miss our picnics in the park when we were the final members continuing the annual meeting - plus the pint in the pub afterwards.

A sunny day here but a brisk wind keeps a real summer feeling away - or possibly it's just my old thin blood.
