Re: Re:

Good. Ready for the next heat wave, then.
As I read the weather map
(clicking Temperatur for temperature)
it's not right around the corner
but that gives you time to break it in ...

How are the kitties and the older ones?
Any pictures of them yet?

Re: Re:

Evening all

The early morning sunshine has gradually been overtaken by clouds which are now getting darker.

Odd things happening on this old machine so I think I'll have to get my tech guy in. If I go AWOL you will know it's not something you said.

Re: Re:

Just been to Sainsbuggers in Morecambe
Intending to get fuel but there was a huge Queue
So went on to the super market first did a shop and got a voucher for ten "p" off each ltr at the pump so having filled up with 52 ltrs it shows as £5.20 reduction on the £69.12 total smile
10p is a big discount so I expect the other two local petrol/supermarkets Thats Asda and Morrison will be doing something similar.
Pump price for our local "city diesel"..
is £1.32.9 per ltr roughly = £6.45 a gallon crying ouch!!!!

I recall some years ago when the fuel costs were on the upward trend I declared that I would sell the car if petrol ever got to a quid a gallon . In fact not really expecting that it might actually reach that point and beyond .
So, such is the way of things Inflation isn't just another word for
bankers to waft about , its real out of your purse into someone's pocket When I started having to buy petrol it was 4/= a gallon
several grades were available at least three I seem to think but struggling to name them regular --super & ?
I know they had star ratings Two star the cheapest Four and Five star dearer, I cant remember three star tho? Plus the Redex gun four gallons and a long shot just under a pound good if you worked on the pumps at dinner time whilst the regular attendant had lunch clean the screen fuss and faff about might get you a "keep the change " biggrin
