Beeb Gives up half F1 tv rights to Sky
Why???
Bring back proper Commentators Like Raymond Baxter maybe he was a tad jingoistic
" The BRM Is In the Lead With good British Air in the Tyres"
When a trip to the paddock let you rub shoulders with chaps in flannels and sports jackets, Hunt, Hawthorn, Hill, Fittapelldi, Stewart, Rindt et al not all at the same time of course. But they were there walking around till it was time to put the work suit on almost free of badges just maybe a Castrol or Dunlop Logo. Likewise the cars Drivers Name and a Number only .

If not at the track you could watch the box Not sure which channel But Raymond and Later Murray gave a good acount of the race with the help of drivers like James Hunt, Blundle, Brundle and Coulthard doing the job nowadays. To my mind If it aint broke dont fix it . The Beeb coverage is excellent Full race no interruptions for adverts ,unimaginable what the Sky fractured coverage will be like. I watch all forms of Motorsport We only get a few months in the warmer time of the year before the B***dy football comes back on SPL is already started....saturation coverage, What Rain Wooney had for breakfast and so on.I'm sure there could be a huge saving to be made there Or am I the only bloke that thinks football an annoying waste of space all those football clubs pushing debt to new levels paying obscene wages developing cult figures. Back to the motor sport at grass roots, club events if televised would encourage actual visits to circuits enthuse interest in F1. As has been already stated it stinks pushing nasty cars off the schedule . When its gone its gone There will no chance when Bernie kicks his final Tyre of our Beeb getting it back
so enjoy it while its still on the same spot on the dial

Thats not to mention the proper game we are starved of.

just returned with a HP Envy wireless scanner printer
My scanner having given up the ghost ..It got tired with me trying to put all of the many drawers of photographs onto the hard drive.
Its amazing how things get smaller and smaller the footprint is as small as it can get I can scan up to A4 sheets or a book.
But I have got rid of the printer Its cleared desk space

Re: Re:

Evening all

At least I can watch the race tomorrow as it happens. To see any cricket it's the highlights when the day is over.

Still the sun is shining and I have merely the problem of getting back on line to one of my accounts.

Warmish with a slight breeze smile But no sign of sun poking through those clouds yet

Re: Re:

Evening all

A warm and sunny day led to more curtains being laundered and drying quickly on the line.

Otherwise, I watched the Grand Prix to see Button add another win to his name. He's still hard to beat in difficult conditions.
