Good morning all, Feeling better today, (Dentist Yesterday). Nice to see Anne-Lise got back home ok. Strange how the weather has improved since she left!
----------------------------------------Discovered yesterday the my Great Great Grandfather (who fought in the battle of Alma) was not only awarded the Crimea Medal, but also the Turkish Crimea Medal!. (He served in the 55th of Foot, now known as the Border Regiment, which was based at Carlisle.) He died on the outskirts of Sevastopol on 10th October 1854. Did the dentist do things that hurt, Ted?
He-he - made the weather good so that you could cut your lawn; will soon be the last chance as the dew tends to last all day now. The info of your GGGfather must amount to a major breakthrough; I had the good luck to visit this Panorama in Sevastopol Panorama - Sevastopol - a good primer for the one in Waterloo |

Do you want me to buy some lottery tickets for you, Ted?
I was in luck in for me unusual ways in New Milton and Poole - just kidding, but that was fun The second time, I had a premonition when I gave it to that specific drummer. - and yes, there are too many places I haven't been to - India to name one ... |

Evening all
Thanks for the good wishes which must have helped for it to be a splendid reunion yesterday sitting in a pub garden in Worthing in bright sunshine and the group including visitors from the States and Canada. The heatwave continues today so the weekly supermarket walk was the warmest of the year by far. |
