Evening all
Some slight drizzle here but otherwise mild so it was a pleasant enough walk down to the bank and also get diaries and appointment calendar prior to the weekend. The forecast no so good for tomorrow's supermarket run. |

Dull, Dark, Dank and Dreary, and that just about sums up both the weather and me ol' self, rotten cold symptoms are still hanging on to me, 3 weeks this saturday since first going down with the so called 'Man Flu' Aghhh. Oh well, a good excuse to pour another whiskey   Old Sage Tony, What you need is a kaolin poultice, (not sure what this did but I remember having to endure them) total abstinence,apart from rubbing the wiccy on any corns regular spoonfuls of Cod liver oil & malt with beef teaAnd I Have told you before about drinking outa damp glasses ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Dec 30, 2011 8:28:17 AM] |

Evening all
It didn't actually start to rain until late morning but I didn't take a chance and joined my wife in the cab to go to the supermarket this morning. It was relatively peaceful there so people have either been careful in their timing or their cash. |

Tony, What you need is a kaolin poultice, (not sure what this did but I remember having to endure them) total abstinence,apart from rubbing the wiccy on any corns regular spoonfuls of Cod liver oil & malt with beef teaAnd I Have told you before about drinking outa damp glasses Den I remember them well, heated in a pan of boiling water, spread onto a muslin cloth and slapped (whilst still hot) on to my scrawney neck, got rid of the mumps but left a poor mites brain scarred for life!!  to get rid of a boil on the neck was just as painful, a bottle was heated with hot water, the contents emptied and the the neck of the bottle placed over the swelling, the vaccuum in the bottle drawing the puss out, once removed a poultice of sunlight soap and sugar was pushed into the hole left behind and the whole covered with muslin.Oh happy childhood days Old Sage |
